I bought a Genie unlimited garage remote and I cannot get it to work with my liftmaster. The directions on how to program the Genie are contrasting from the Liftmaster directions and neither work. Is there anyone out there who has a liftmaster and used a different universal

changing out garage door openers is not cruel. pretty much the motor and the chain rod should both be changed. then latch the combination to the door. shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes.
