I bought a Genie unlimited garage remote and I cannot get it to work with my liftmaster. The directions on how to program the Genie are contrasting from the Liftmaster directions and neither work. Is there anyone out there who has a liftmaster and used a different universal

I came across a Genie opener on craigslist and the people said its a shackle drive with a bar going down the middle of the ceiling like my liftmaster. Does this ignoble i can just swap the motors or do i have to replace te center bar too so the fetter lines up? Whaall would i

changing out garage door openers is not cruel. pretty much the motor and the chain rod should both be changed. then latch the combination to the door. shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes.
