Children and parents akin donned their Mickey Mouse ears and made the Mid-America Center take energetic with the music and occult that only Walt Disney's far-sightedness could accord on Thursday gloaming.

Directory Bluffs hosted "Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Hypnotic" Stride 6 and 7. The program is a touring ice show produced by Feld Presentation with the Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse and all his pals brought Walt Disney's stories of turtle-dove, guts and intimacy to soul.

Kristina Minahan, 27, who was dressed top-to-bottom in Disney appliances, couldn't stand by to take her 2-year-old daughter, Gabriella, to see Cinderella.
