Buddha Figurines?

Im an atheist but Im an interested in Buddhism and i would like to buy a Buddha figurine. Would it be ok for me to own one?
Its because its the only creed/belief im interested in really but i dont want to be pert by owning a statue if you are actually supposed to be a Buddhist

What do you nasty would it be okay? I am having trouble understanding why an Atheist would ask a theme like this.

On the off chance I am missing something..........yes you can own a Buddha statue.

Does anyone comprehend a web site that might detail these things. I have regular buddhas, chinese god, boddhistavvas and Kuen Yin flair figurines. Any Ideas?
