For years I have been splitting wood the old fashioned way..with an ax and if it's too big...a crowd and sledge....is there a site that has plans to build your own splitter.
I found this website using a plain hydraulic jack, looks pretty simple but is dole out operated.

I have a ton of logs piled up that require to be split, and I have a borrowed log splitter for the perpetually being. So I figured that would be a yard goods job for the day. I went through some of the bigger hunks of wood, that were slight enough to be moved by myself, and wanted to get some of the older, more prepared wood from the wood jump on.
