Are Ariens Snowblowers from HomeDepot not the real deal?

I went to a wee power shop today who sells Ariens, Toro, and Powerful snowblowers. They said the Ariens they carry are better quality than the ones that are made for Composed Depot. Something about the specs being different. Is this true?
Approximately yes, big box stores get the "lower" grade of an particular. WalMart is horrible about this. The manufacturer will sell large amounts to these stores at a reduced price, but include some that did not pass the tougher tests

coming from between the wheels, stops emotive unless I push/pull it. Then goes away for a bit..only to show up again after a time.
It is a frayed bearing, eventually it will seize up or "explode" in either instance causing more damage. this needs to be serviced now
